Duburuo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy describes how Duburuo responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement and how rights holders may submit a valid takedown request.
Notification of Alleged Infringement
If you believe that content available on or through our platform infringes one or more of your copyrights, you may submit a written notification to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your notification must include all of the following elements as required under applicable copyright law:
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our platform, such as the URL or page description.
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Notifications that do not comply with all of the requirements above may not receive a response or may not be processed.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, a counter-notification must include all of the following:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material unless the original notifying party files an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement within a reasonable period.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to terminate access to our platform for any user who has been the subject of multiple valid takedown notices, at our sole discretion.
Modification of Material
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify the account holder associated with the content when action is taken, where such notification is practicable.
Disclaimer of Liability
We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party takedown notices and do not make any representations or warranties regarding the validity of any claim submitted to us. Submitting a false or misleading takedown notice may expose the submitter to liability.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of our platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
